Odirile studied B.Com Law with Business Management and Micro-economics as electives, followed by an LL.B degree with a particular interest in Public Law and Environmental Law at the University of Pretoria (UP).

In addition to being recognised on the Dean’s Merit List, she was also recognised as one of the Top 100 Students by GradStar – a programme which recognises the Top 100 students across the country from all disciplines based on academic excellence, leadership capabilities, and readiness for the workplace.

During her time in the Jacaranda City, Odirile earned her leadership stripes by holding various management positions in the TuksRes Women in Leadership Academy (TRWLA), which provides leadership and personal development training to the students in the ladies’ residences at UP. She went on to become the Director and sat on the Eldership Board.

She has also dedicated her service in various capacities to the Sinako We Can Movement, which is a registered NPO that seeks to empower and mentor aspirant legal practitioners and social justice advocates.
In her final year, Odirile also sat on the Editorial Board of the prestigious Pretoria Student Law Review.

She wears her passion for social and environmental justice on her sleeve. She aspires to effect change by contributing to the practice and development of the law in ways that benefit and enrich the lives of all people.

Apart from academic and professional interests, Odirile enjoys spending time with nature and can often be found appreciating bird song on a hike or marvelling at strelitzias in the local botanical garden.
