Throughout her studies at the University of the Free State, Deonay developed a robust work ethic and a passion for the law.

Deonay obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) at the University of the Free State where she formed part of the International Golden Key Honour Society. She was also a Dean’s Merit Award recipient for the 2020 academic year. The highlight of her studies was doing research for and writing her mini-dissertation. She is currently also working with her study-leader on re-working her dissertation into an academic article. She aims to set the standard by utilising her strong attention to detail and dedicated work ethic to execute her tasks with excellence and to meet her clients’ needs in an effective and efficient manner. 

Deonay values and is always looking for opportunities to learn. She believes that learning experiences are the best way to discover yourself. After various job shadowing opportunities, she quickly discovered that conveyancing is where her interests lie. She looks forward to working with and learning from the firm’s expert Conveyancers and Notaries.

In her free time, Deonay enjoys watching any legal or medical drama that she can get her hands on, and spending time with family and friends.
