He began his legal career as a candidate legal practitioner in 2020, gaining experience in civil litigation until his admission as an Attorney of the High Court in 2022. Gauta is an Attorney in our Dispute Resolution Practice Group, specialising in labour and employment disputes. He began his legal career as a candidate legal practitioner in 2020, gaining experience in civil litigation until his admission as an Attorney of the High Court in 2022. He joined PH Attorneys' Labour and Employment Division in January 2024.

He graduated from Dr Reginald Cingo Comprehensive School in Kroonstad, Free State, and continued his education at the University of the Free State (UFS), earning his LLB degree in 2018 and his Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law in 2019.

During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UFS, he served on House Khayalami Sub-committees and captained the University of the Free State High-Performance Football Team (Kovsie Football Club) from 2016 to 2019.

Gauta is dedicated to providing his clients with sound legal advice and the solutions they require. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching football.
