PH Attorneys is looking to appoint a Junior accountant (SAIPA) within its Finance Department at the Bloemfontein Office. The position will provide an opportunity to form part of a leading firm and with the potential for growth and private sector experience.

Minimum requirements:

• Completed SAIPA articles, recently completed articles.

• Proven experience using Pastel.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent planning and organising skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English.

The key responsibility areas will be:

• Handle all accounting processing up to trial balance.

• Respond to all account-related queries.

• Perform debt collection functions.

• Prepare and present reports to management.

• Manage PAYE and VAT submissions.

• Prepare Annual Financial Statements.
