We are proud to announce that Oosthuizen, Marais & Pretorius Attorneys (OMP) has become part of PH Attorneys, marking a significant milestone in a relationship shaped by years of collaboration. This development builds on OMP’s 15-year membership in the
PH Group
, South Africa’s largest legal network, founded by PH Attorneys in 2006, and enhances our ability to deliver greater value to clients nationally.
As part of the acquisition, OMP officially rebranded as PH Attorneys (Southern Cape), strengthening their regional presence and expanding the range of legal services available to clients in the Southern Cape with access to broader practice areas.
The new brand was unveiled at an exclusive client event on 29 January 2026 at the Mossel Bay office, attended by clients, staff, and key stakeholders. The celebration highlighted the firm’s journey, its integration into the PH brand, and the exciting opportunities ahead. The rebrand includes a refreshed corporate identity, updated digital and physical branding, and enhanced client offerings.
“This is an exciting milestone for our firm,” said
Nico Marais
, Director at OMP (now PH Attorneys Southern Cape). “While our name and brand have evolved, our values, our people, and the quality of service our clients rely on remain unchanged.”
Lesley Mokgoro
, National CEO of PH Attorneys, added: “We are thrilled to welcome the OMP team. By joining forces, we aim to introduce a new dimension to the legal landscape in the region and strengthen existing client relationships. Clients can expect the same trusted service, now backed by the resources and expertise of a national firm.”
Clients in Mossel Bay and the surrounding areas can continue to expect the highest standard of legal expertise - now with the added strength and support of PH Attorneys.
