Nico Marais

Nico is a Director in the Property Department, specialising in property transfers, property developments, bond registrations, property consolidations and subdivisions, servitudes, and general commercial contracts. He settled in Mossel Bay in 1997 and was appointed as a Director on 1 March 1999.

Originally from Bethlehem in the Free State, Nico obtained his B.Proc degree from the University of the Free State in 1991. He completed his articles of clerkship at Naudes Attorneys (now PH Attorneys) in Bloemfontein and was admitted as an Attorney in April 1994. He further enhanced his professional expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Deceased Estates Practice from the University of South Africa in 2001 and was admitted as a Conveyancer in 2003.

Nico served on the board of the Mossel Bay Business Chamber for more than a decade, contributing actively to the local business community.
