Jaco has always enjoyed the Law of Delict. The Law of Delict deals with any wrongful act against a person, and therefore can be seen as a part of the law the has a major impact on the life of any individual. The Law of Delict includes personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents and claims for damage against a person or property. As a result of this, Jaco feels that he can assist real people with everyday problems.

To Jaco there is no greater feeling than helping someone that is in trouble or who has been wronged by someone else. This is why he enjoys working as an attorney, as it enables him to help people with a wide range of legal and personal problems.

Jaco has been described as a very good listener, who has a lot of patience and he always remains calm, no matter how stressful a situation is. Jaco is also a big sports fan and participates in cricket at club level.
