Dorka is a Candidate Legal Practitioner in our Dispute Resolution Practice Group, whose main practise areas include family law and general civil litigation. Her allegiance and passion lies in problem resolution and utilising the law as a tool to do so. 

Dorka graduated with an LL.B degree from the North-West University, Mafikeng campus. She strongly believes that one’s background should never place a limitation on how far you can go. Her hardworking and curious nature propelled her to take up various roles throughout university. She was a tutor and regularly participated in public speaking and mock trial competitions.

Her leadership qualities significantly improved when she took up an offer as the academic affairs officer of the law student’s chapter where she got to stand at the forefront as a mouthpiece for law students. Her commitment to her studies resulted in various academic awards from the faculty, including best academic achievement in third year LL.B and a Bowmans bursary.

As an advocate for social justice she also participated in various organisations such as Enactus and Golden key initiatives.

She aspires to be among the best legal minds and to do so with humility and a big smile.
