PH Attorneys is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and professional Fiduciary Trust Officer to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in fiduciary services, trust administration, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will assist with the administration of trusts and companies, compliance monitoring, company secretarial services, and related fiduciary matters. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, strong administrative skills, and a willingness to learn and develop within a specialised field.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration of trusts, companies, and other fiduciary structures.
- Preparation and maintenance of trust and company records.
- Assisting with company secretarial functions, including statutory filings and record keeping.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Conducting beneficial ownership reviews and maintaining related records.
- Assisting with client due diligence and compliance processes.
- Drafting resolutions, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other fiduciary documentation.
- Liaising with clients, professional advisers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Managing administrative processes and ensuring deadlines are met accurately and timeously.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Applicants should possess a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification, such as:
- BCom
- BCom Law
- Accounting or Financial Management degree
- LL.B
- Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, or related qualification
- Any other relevant tertiary qualification
Experience
- Between 1 and 3 years' relevant experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, compliance, company secretarial services, legal administration, accounting, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Strong graduates with limited practical experience who demonstrate excellent academic ability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn from the ground up are also encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to trust administration, beneficial ownership compliance, company secretarial services, FICA compliance, or corporate governance will be advantageous although not a necessity.
