Anna-Marie Pretorius

Anna-Marie is in the Deceased Estates Department, where she is responsible for administration of deceased estates and estates of persons under curatorship. She also specialises in drafting tailored wills and trusts, providing clients with practical, personalised estate planning solutions.

A Mossel Bay native, Anna-Marie obtained her BA (Law) and LL.B degrees from the University of Stellenbosch in 1985 and 1987 respectively and was admitted as an Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1988.

She brings extensive legal experience to her role, having previously served as a Prosecutor in Oudtshoorn, Chief State Prosecutor in George, and as a Legal Advisor and Officer at the Mossel Bay Municipality. In these roles, she dealt extensively with municipal legislation and by-laws, contributing to her well-rounded legal expertise.
