To do our bit in honour of Nelson Mandela's Centenary, many of our staff donated money as well as baby products, clothes and blankets towards a project providing baby bags for new little lives at state hospitals in Bloemfontein. Most new moms at these hospitals have next to nothing to care for their little ones once they're expected to take their babies home - which is where these bags containing all the essentials for those critical first few days, come in.

On Mandela Day itself, a few of our associates had the privilege of helping to distribute 40 of the baby bags to brand new moms at Pelonomi Hospital's maternity ward. Each of them will be able to tell you how heartwarming it was to see the tiny babies in their beaming mothers' arms, and to know that each baby bag will help make the newborns' first days on earth just a little more comfortable.
