Neo is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Phatshoane Henney Attorneys where he works in the Civil Litigation department, dealing primarily in general litigation, as well as with administrative law, constitutional law and corporate governance. He further specialises in liquor licensing matters.
He previously formed part of the Criminal Law division of the firm, and still lectures criminal law at the LSSA L.E.A.D Bloemfontein school.
At university, Neo was a prominent member of the debate society of the University of the Free State, representing the University at national and international tournaments. These experiences have proven invaluable in preparing for his career as a litigant and provided him with the ability to think on his feet in pressure situations. In his spare time, Neo still pursues his passion for debating, acting as a Director of the Debate Africa Foundation, a community initiative, established to expand debating skills in underprivileged communities.
Neo enjoys his sport, playing social cricket and participating in the firm’s bowls team, which much to the surprise of his colleagues, he is quite adept at!
