Trust and Corporate Assistant

PH Attorneys has an exciting opportunity for a Trust and Corporate Assistant to join its leading Trust Office team in Bloemfontein. 

The candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Trust administration:

Assistance and support to Trust Officers in respect of client trust administration, including registrations, amendments, resolutions, meeting management, trustee reporting, compliance and beneficial ownership reporting.
Ancillary trust matters as required from time-to-time.

Company administration:
Company administration and secretarial support to client companies, including registrations, filings, amendments, resolutions, compliance and beneficial ownership.
Ancillary company and matters as required from time-to-time.

Minimum qualifications & experience:

3-4 years appropriate undergraduate qualification –eg. LL.B, B.Com, B.Com Law or a qualification in corporate or trust administration.
At least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience. Experience in a legal, accounting, corporate or trust administration will be beneficial although not a requirement.
Able to effectively read, write and communicate in English. Although not a requirement being bilingual (English and Afrikaans) can be beneficial.
Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft and online communication platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom etc.

Highly organised with strong project management capabilities
Dynamic and self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative
High standards with regards to quality of work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

A market related remuneration package will be offered, dependent on qualifications and experience.
