A leading South African scholarship programme, the Siyandisa Foundation, has a fantastic permanent Marketing Manager opportunity available. 

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Bloemfontein team. If you're passionate about driving growth, building brand presence, and creating impactful campaigns, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Digital Savvy: Stay ahead of the curve with an understanding of digital marketing channels and trends. Drive our online presence on social media.
Brand Management: You'll be the guardian of our brand identity. Ensure consistency across all touchpoints, maintaining a strong and cohesive brand image. This will include all brand assets, websites and intranets, communication channels, relationship management, gifting, etc. 
You will also work closely with an external brand agency in conceptualisation, development and delivery of marketing campaigns and content. 
Content Creation: Developing, scheduling and delivering marketing content and campaigns across various marketing and communication channels (internally and externally)
Results-oriented: Your ability to track, analyse, and report on content, campaigns and the growth of digital channels will guide our decision-making, allowing us to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
Event management: From corporate events to meetings, you will have to coordinate all aspects, from venue selection to logistics.
Engagement: Engaging with our different stakeholders, scholarship recipients, and corporate and institutional partners regarding marketing aspects.

Minimum qualifications & experience:

3-year undergraduate qualification (e.g., BA or B. Com in Marketing and/or Communication);
At least 3-5 years’ post-qualification work experience in Marketing
Demonstrated experience in digital and social media marketing as well as content marketing will be beneficial
Basic graphic design experience will be an advantage
Website content management experience will be an advantage

Additional requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent creativity and conceptualisation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong project management capabilities
Dynamic and self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative
High standards about quality of work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

This is a hybrid working position, with the successful candidate to be primarily office-based but with the option to work remotely on an agreed hybrid basis. 

A market-related remuneration package will be offered, dependent on qualifications and experience.
