Commercial law: hints of colour in unexpected places
29 April 2019

Hi, I’m Juanita and I love what I do!
As an attorney, I am passionate about company law and finding innovative solutions for clients.
I am a Senior Associate in the commercial department of Phatshoane Henney Attorneys, where I provide corporate and commercial law services to clients and am involved with a broad range of commercial transactions.
I am well versed in providing all-round corporate commercial legal services, which combined with my business experience, drafting ability and research skills provides me with a good understanding of the modern corporate business environment and the needs of clients.
What I love about my job is the diversity of instructions I get to deal with every day. One day I will be providing a full-day seminar on data protection and the next, be involved in a complex corporate restructure. My every-day job involves a lot of writing (sometimes more creative than others) and research (you have to stay up to date with the latest legal developments to best assist clients and adapt with the times).
When I am not working, I enjoy travelling and attending quirky art exhibitions and foodie festivals. You will often find me in the kitchen cooking, where I enjoy trying out new recipes with my Fiancé as willing tribute to sample any new concoction I make. Other interests and hobbies include: Pilates, jogging, reading, spending time in nature and hiking.
I would like to share my professional experiences and views on the latest legal developments with you, so please keep an eye on my blog for future posts!
