Phatshoane Henney Attorneys is looking to appoint a Bookkeeper to its Finance Department in Bloemfontein. The position will provide an opportunity to form part of a leading firm and with the potential for growth and private sector experience.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Maintaining & capturing of financial records on Sage Pastel Accounting & LegalSuite
Capturing of supplier invoices, bank accounts and processing of debtors transactions
Account queries
Loading of payments
Perform all duties op to the trial balance level
Provide administrative support to management when needed
Minimum qualifications & experience:
Accounting related diploma / degree
A minimum of 5 years work experience in the private sector (finance)
Previous experience at Law firm would be beneficial
Experience on Legal Suite would be beneficial
Additional requirements:
Technically strong
Dynamic and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
Excellent verbal and communication skills
High standards with regards to quality of work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong computer skills and understanding of financial systems
Highly organized
Salary is market-related.
