Carla is a Candidate Attorney in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Phatshoane Henney Attorneys, where she is primarily involved in High Court litigation and banking law disputes.
Carla matriculated in 2012 from Potchefstroom Gimnasium with eight distinctions. She continued to excel at university level where she completed her B. Com (Law) degree in 2015 and her LL.B degree in 2017, both cum laude. She also received recognition for being the best student in Criminal Law, Law of Property, Law of Evidence and Public International Law.
In addition to her academic achievements, Carla was part of the NWU team that represented South Africa in November 2017 in the All-Africa Moot Court Competition in International Humanitarian Law held in Arusha, Tanzania. In 2013 to 2015, Carla was a member of the NWU PUK Choir and later also served on the Executive Committee of the Choir.
Carla is passionate about law and loves challenges, and her can-do attitude enables her to assist clients diligently and devotedly.
