Description:
Contorted, Vettie stands guard at the entrance to a derelict building. The entrance is “protected” by an unravelled carpet. The threads fray like the fabric of society, remnants of what constitutes humanity.

The dog guards the vestiges of humanity from escaping the underbelly of the city, holding back the pieces in the background. The entrance offers a glimmer of the dark underbelly.
