Phatshoane Henney Attorneys is looking to appoint a financial accountant to its finance department in Bloemfontein. The position will provide an opportunity to form part of a leading firm and with the potential for growth and private sector experience.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Developing and implementing controls and processes
• Supply chain and procurement management
• Management of creditors and debtors
• Capturing of financial transactions
• Financial reporting
• Financial systems
Candidate Requirements
Minimum qualifications & experience:
• B.Com / B. Accounting degree
• SAIPA Articles experience
• A minimum of 3 years post-article work experience
• Financial management background
Additional requirements:
• Technically strong
• Dynamic and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• High standards with regards to quality of work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A high-level of IT literacy and understanding of financial systems
• Negotiating skills
• Highly organized
• Project reporting/compilation/presentation
Salary package will be market related.
