In honour of Human Rights Day, the attorneys of Phatshoane Henney Attorneys' Dispute Resolution Practice Group recently hosted an entire day of joy for less fortunate children at the Tjhabelang Primary School in Bainsvlei.

Upholding ‘Section 31 – The right to fun’, our attorneys participated in various activities to entertain the close to 130 underprivileged children of the rural Bainsvlei community, educated at Tjhabelang Primary School to assist in uplifting them from poverty.

The day was jam packed with face painting, a magic show, and lots of laughter on pushcarts, a waterslide and a jumping castle, rounded off with burgers for lunch and candy floss to all the children’s hearts’ content.

Adriaan van Rensburg, criminal law attorney from Phatshoane Henney Attorneys, remarked that they arranged this day to free the children of their worries for at least one day, and to make sure they simply had as much fun as possible. “It meant the world to us to see their smiling, laughing faces. We believe that it really should be everyone’s right to be able to experience such joy.”
