The associates and candidate attorneys of Phatshoane Henney Attorneys all generously devoted their 67 minutes in celebration of Nelson Mandela Day by preparing food for children in need.

Over 15 of our associates participated in the Vodacom Food Packing project, presented in association with the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Department of Basic Education. So doing they helped pack 3900 food parcels for distribution to previously disadvantaged schools in our region.

In turn 20 of our candidate attorneys devoted their time to Meals on Wheels’ Nelson Mandela Day Sandwich Drive, where they prepared 333 sandwiches for the National Hospital Sunflower Children’s Hospice. Afterwards they also visited the hospice to spend some time with the children, and helped prepare their lunch for them.

There were many moving experiences in both instances. Colleagues, you did good!
