Phatshoane Henney and Naudes merger successfully finalized!

Phatshoane Henney inc. and Naudes Attorneys at the end of 2012 announced the imminent merger of the two firms to form a combined firm that will operate as Phatshoane Henney Attorneys out of two Bloemfontein offices and an office in Randburg, Gauteng.

It is now with great pleasure that the Board of Directors of the merged firm announce the successful finalization of the merger of the two firms and the trading of the combined firm as Phatshoane Henney Attorneys in what will be an influential step for the firm, and its staff and clients. The new firm comprising of more than 50 professionals and a large administrative support staff, stands as the largest full service law firm in the central region of South Africa and one of the top South African firms.

The process of merging the two firms has been exceptionally positive with staff and culture integrating without difficulty and underlining the relevance of the merger. Client support of the merger has also been extremely encouraging with clients expressing their interest in and best wishes and support for the process.

The Bloemfontein offices of Phatshoane Henney Attorneys are organised according to the main Practice Groups of the firm. The firm offices on the corner of Markgraaff and Kellner Streets is home to the combined Litigation and Property Practice Groups whereas the Commercial Practice Group and Labour division are based at the Third Avenue offices, with a number of professionals having moved between offices in order to consolidate the Practice Groups.

Importantly, all existing telephone numbers of professional and administrative staff have remained the same and clients can continue to liaise with their existing contacts at the firm using their previous telephone contact numbers.



With the establishment of the new Phatshoane Henney Attorneys also comes a new brand and way of doing things. The firm logo and brand has been redesigned to provide a strong, modern and differentiated brand that is representative of the firm’s vision to be one of the top South African law firms.
